Operation Instruction of Silicone pad for pen printing

Silicone pad for pen printing is an indirect printing technology using a silicone pad as a carrier, which has become a primary method of printing a variety of surfaces and decoration. A design is etched on the printing plate which is coated with ink, and then, through the silicone pad to transfer most of the ink onto the printed objects.

Operation instruction of  silicone pad for pen printing: 

1. Firstly, we need choose a proper silicone pad mold , clean it with detergent, dry it by an air gun and spray the release agent.

2. Deployment of printing paste: Mix the silicone for pen printing and silicone oil by the ratio of 100:30-100:50 according to the size of patterns, the silicone pad for pen with the hardness of 15-25 shore A will got. Then, add the curing agent after stirring evenly, which is 2%-3% of the total weight of the silicone for pen printing and silicone oil, and continue stirring.

3. Take the mixture to de-air and pour the mixed silicone for pen printing into the silicone pad mold slowly.

4. Cover the wooden board when the silicone cross linking reaction goes on about 8-10 minutes.

5. You can demould the silicone pad mold after the silicone for pen printing fully cured about 4 hours. And 8 hours or 24 hours later, the silicone pad can be used for pen printing.
