Tin-cured silicone liquid mold rubbers, also called condensation cure silicones, are a two-component material, consisting of Part A the base silicone and part B the curing agent/catalyst, room temperature curing systems; they are available in a variety of hardnesses. Molds made from these silicone rubbers exhibit high tear strength, good release properties, and resistance to high temperatures.

Storage of RTV-2 Silicone Rubber

When the silicone rubber is stored at or below 30 ℃ (85℉) in the original unopened containers, RTV2 silicone base and TC30 curing agent have a usable life of 12 months from the date of production.

Note of RTV-2 Silicone Rubber

RTV-2 silicone rubber is an industrial product and must not be used in food molding, dental human skin molding applications.
