Several causes will make addition cure silicone rubber uncure.

The First phenomena:it does not cure at all.

That is to say, after mixing the two components of AB, the silicone gel is the same as before mixing for several hours or one day;

Cause:

1.Industrial grade condensation cure silicone has been used in the mixing tool or container before, which causes silicone not cure.

2.The silicone rubber compound is contacted or mixed with nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), tin (Sn), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), alcohols, water, etc.;

3.Doesn't not in accordance with the correct mixing ratio ;

4.If you add color paste, you also consider whether the color paste is environmentally friendly;

5.If there is nothing wrong with it, consider whether the manufacturer is mistaken, check whether it is two A or two B or not;

The Second phenomena: half-cured

1. When silicone rubber is used, the operating temperature is too low, resulting in inhibition of the platinum catalyst and failure to carry out the catalytic reaction;

2. Uneven mixing will make silicone half-cured and not cured;

3. The rubber compound is contacted or mixed with nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), tin (Sn), lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), alcohols, water, etc.;

4. Liquid silicone avoids contacting with putty (more in the electronics industry), sludge, TPV, painted surface, organotin solder joints, rosin (the rosin is used in the soldering of electronics factories);

5. The container should be separated with the container using condensation cure silicone . The silicone should be operated with tools which is not used in room temperature,to avoid the phenomenon of non-curing or surface stickiness, incomplete curing or even curing.

6. Some color pastes will make the silicone poisoning no, and the non-environmental color paste contain some substances to make silicone uncure .So the color paste needs to be environmentally friendly;

7.Some hand-operated people like to use addition cure silicone to make molds. It is inevitable to use clay , which will cause the surface to be slightly sticky. The solution is brushing a layer of slow-drying platinum water on the surface.
